Camp is Underway

Hello Parents,

This is just a friendly update to you ensure you your children are having a great time at camp. I am re-tweeting photos from camp on my Twitter account. See @nparkerlearning or #cam416 for photos.

So far the students have done the following activities:

  • spent one night in their cabins
  • nature hike
  • hour-long recess
  • meals
  • survival skills class

Butter Braid Fundraising Begins!

6th graders will start fundraising for camp by selling Butter Braids.  This fundraiser will begin on Friday, 8/16, and will end on 9/9/13.  Your child will earn $6 profit for each item sold.  On Friday, your child will receive the order form and can begin selling immediately.   Help your child reach the goal of selling 20 Butter Braid Pastries!

6th Grade Camp

We will be visiting Camp Marston in Julian, CA.  Camp is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for students, where they learn not just about outdoor education, but about teamwork, friendship, independence and more.  Students often make lasting friendships and unforgettable memories during their one-week outing.
